Questions To Ask Before Hiring a PHP Developer

Information Technology Blog - - Questions To Ask Before Hiring a PHP Developer - Information Technology Blog

Startups who are new to business, or even companies who have been around for years, can’t just go to any programmer for development.  They need to research reliability, capabilities, and if a developer will be around for future scaling, or can provide documentation for the next developer.  Here are some considerations to keep in mind when looking for a PHP developer.

Php web-development is such a vast field that the market is saturated with businesses offering such services. Some are concerned about quality, some are better at design, and some win because of the low price.  Low price, however, does not always cut it; you get what you pay for.

Here are 5 questions business owners should keep in mind when looking for a developer.

How long has the PHP developer been offering services to businesses?

The more experienced your desired company, the better solution they will offer, and the longer they may stick around.

Ask to see the developer’s portfolio.

No one should rely purely on their relatives’ or past clients’ references because they can still be wrong. Look at the developer’s portfolio and ask yourself if that is the type of work you would want to see on your website or application.

What technologies and capabilities is the developer ready to provide?

A client may need much more than ordinary solutions that he/she may see in developer’s portfolio; be clear to describe the full functionality you wish to see in a final product

Which frameworks do they use?

Some frameworks may suit your site; some may not, it is up to you to decide whether a framework this firm uses is good for you.

Which functionality do I want to see on my website?

Making major changes to your site can be costly after all is said and done, so think carefully about technologies you want to see implemented in your website. The success of your project is 100% dependent on the quality of the technical task you send to a PHP development company.

Can I choose the company without making much research?

You may not have much time to do research, but research pays off.  Look for reviews, ratings, check our previous works and functionality.  Don’t sign up with the first developer you see.  You could be in for a long term relationship.

9 VCs in Madrid and Barcelona discuss the COVID-19 era and look to the future

Spain’s startup ecosystem has two main hubs: Madrid and Barcelona. Most observers place Barcelona first and Madrid second, but the gap appears to close every year. Barcelona has benefitted from attracting expats in search of sun, beach and lifestyle who tend to produce more internationally minded startups. Madrid’s startups have predominantly been Spain or Latin America-focused, but have become increasingly international in nature. Although not part of this survey, we expect Valencia to join next year, as city authorities have been going all-out to attract entrepreneurs and investors. The overall Spanish ecosystem is generally less mature than those in the U.K., France, Sweden and Germany, but it has been improving at a fast clip. More recently, entrepreneurs in Spain have moved away from emulating success in pursuit of innovative technologies. Following the financial crisis, the Spanish government supported the creation of startups with the launch of FOND-ICO GLOBAL, a €1.5 billi
